Mosquitoes
Since insect sprays and other mosquito eradication measures have been rendered harmless to stem the mosquito outbreak, our best bet is to keep them away with mosquito repellents. Mosquitoes can be easily kept away by using various essential oils.
Attraction and repulsion
Mosquitoes are attracted to us by certain substances in our sweat. The carbon dioxide that is released in our breath and through the skin also attracts mosquitoes to us. The insect's olfactory sensors recognize them over great distances and we are a free meal.
Reproduce
The female mosquitoes need a dose of blood to reproduce, so every time they get blood, their population increases. That's another reason to avoid getting bitten.
Against the spread of mosquitoes
Eucalyptus Essential Oil helps prevent the spread of mosquitoes. Hamam mix ensures that you are not bitten by mosquitoes. Add 25 drops Hamam mix to 100 ml Grapeseed oil to care for the skin and keep mosquitoes at bay. When the Hamam mix is added to the Grape Seed Oil, you only have to shake it when the bottle is closed again and it is ready for use.
To ensure that mosquitoes are less likely to enter the room, you can also use the essential oils below against mosquitoes in an aroma burner.
Ward off with the smell
Hamam essential oil mix is also good for repelling ticks in nature.
Below you will find which essential oil can be added to 100 ml of perfume alcohol to naturally repel certain insects.
It is also possible to use our ready-made lavender roomspray for this.
