Hammam products
At Beauty & Care we have everything for the hammam. A Hammam ritual is an age-old cleansing ritual that is originally a traditional Arabic cleansing ritual in an Eastern bathhouse. The most beautiful hammam can be found in the larger wellness centers. In this Oriental bathhouse you can pamper yourself.
Hammam treatment
You first warm up your body in a steam cabin, which causes the skin pores to open. This can also be done by means of an infusion in the sauna. After this, douse yourself with lukewarm water to cleanse your body a little beforehand. Then, when the ritual begins, you will be massaged with your entire body on a heated marble slab or a heated stone table in the hammam space by means of a hammam olive soap massage with a traditional soap bag. This is where the ultimate relaxation begins and you can enjoy a nice massage. Then warm water is poured over the body from hammam bowls. After this, the body is scrubbed with a special scrub glove (kese scrub glove) to remove dead skin cells. These disappear like snow in the sun after this ritual. After this total relaxation, ghassoul can be used to rub the entire body or just as a face mask so that you emerge completely reborn from the hammam ritual. In the Arab world it is customary to enjoy a delicious cup of tea after the hammam treatment. After this hammam treatment you will be well washed and completely clean. The hammam facilities will make you feel reborn.

Hammam cleansing ritual
A hammam treatment provides peace and relaxation. The purpose of hammam packages is often to remove dead skin cells, cleanse the skin, give a wonderful massage, scrub and enjoy the heat in the sauna and on the heated marble slab.
Swimwear or no swimwear?
Normally, swimwear is not worn in the sauna when entering the hammam. But the body is usually provided with a pestemal or/hamam towel that is easy to put on or take off during the hammam treatment.
Hammam arrangements in the hammam room
When visiting a hammam, it is important that the skin is initially heated so that the pores open. This can be done by warming up for about 10 minutes in the steam cabin or sauna. After this, the skin is doused with lukewarm water from the copper hammam bowls.
Exfoliate with Kese scrub glove
The body can then be scrubbed with a kese scrub glove and you can enjoy the soap massage using the hammam soaps and the foam bag for the hammam during the olive soap massage.
Extra cleanse the skin with Ghassoul clay
After this, the skin is additionally cleaned by a ghassoul treatment in which ghassoul powder is mixed with Eucalyptus Mint massage oil, (rose) water and possibly an essential oil if desired. The ghassoul is then washed off after 15 minutes of action, leaving healthy, soft and clean skin.
If no essential oil is included in the ghassoul treatment, add a few drops of hamam mix to an aroma stone during the treatment to experience a wonderful hamam scent in the room.
